Speed in the Heart of Madrid
Experience the heartbeat of motorsport up close
The Spanish Grand Prix™ in Madrid marks an exciting new chapter in Formula 1® history. On the brand-new Madring Circuit, the energy of a vibrant city meets cutting-edge motorsport. Tight technical sections give way to explosive straights where cars can exceed 340 km/h, while the monumental “La Peraltada” banking is already set to become one of the most spectacular features on the Formula 1® calendar.
With 22 corners, notable elevation changes and a demanding mix of slow chicanes and high-speed sections, the circuit presents a formidable challenge for both drivers and teams. Madrid is not a race that allows time to settle in. It is a spectacle from the very first lap. The city's energy, the passion of the Spanish fans and the heat of September combine to create a Grand Prix™ experience that is as thrilling as it is unforgettable.
History & Tradition
Madrid returns to the Formula 1® calendar after more than four decades and does so in spectacular fashion. The Spanish capital last hosted the pinnacle of motorsport at the Jarama Circuit in the 1980s before the spotlight shifted elsewhere. Now, Madrid is writing a new chapter. With a long-term agreement and a purpose-built street circuit, the city is positioning itself as a major destination on the global Formula 1® calendar.
The Madring represents the future of motorsport: modern, urban and fully integrated into the life of the city. Madrid is more than a legacy venue. It is a statement of ambition and a vision for the future. The inaugural race marks the beginning of a new era, one that promises to shape Formula 1® in Spain for years to come.
