The first meeting took place in December 1907 and ended in a 4-1 victory for Chelsea FC at Anfield Road. In the last meeting between Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC at the beginning of October 2025, Chelsea won 2:1. The Londoners took the lead through goals from Moisés Caicedo and Estêvão Willian, while Liverpool managed to equalize in the meantime. Despite a committed final phase from the Reds, Chelsea successfully defended their lead until the final whistle. 

 

The match was played at Stamford Bridge and offered the spectators an intense and competitive Premier League duel at a high level. With this success, Chelsea achieved an important victory against a direct rival and the tradition-steeped duel was given another exciting chapter in the two clubs' long history together.
