With countless hits and tours in over 120 countries, Sean Paul is considered Jamaica's top musical export and the biggest global star that the ‘small island with the big sound’ has produced to date. Born Sean Paul Henriques in Kingston in 1973, the dancehall deejay (as microphone controllers are called in Jamaica) has been conquering the global charts since his breakthrough in the late 1990s with songs such as ‘Gimme The Light’, ‘Get Busy’, ‘No Lie’,
“Temperature” and ‘Bring It’. As a sought-after collaborator with superstars such as Beyoncé, Sia, Dua Lipa, Clean Bandit and J Balvin, Sean Paul has been shaping the global sound between dancehall, pop and reggae like no other for more than two decades – and thrills audiences on stage with unrivalled energy.
In spring 2026, he will be touring again, stopping in Cologne, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Leipzig. His debut album ‘Stage One’ (2000) paved the way for him, and with the Grammy-winning follow-up ‘Dutty Rock’ (2002), he finally achieved international sensation. Since then, he has enjoyed one success after another: Trinity (2005) produced the global hit ‘Temperature’, while he further expanded his stylistic range with Imperial Blaze, Tomahawk Technique and Scorcha. With crossover hits such as Cheap Thrills (feat. Sia), Rockabye (feat. Clean Bandit & Anne-Marie) and No Lie (feat. Dua Lipa), Sean Paul reached the top of almost every music market.
